Head of Americas Strategic Account Management and Asset Owner & Investment Consultant Coverage
As Head of Americas Strategic Account Management and Asset Owner & Investment Consultant Coverage, Michelle leads a team of twenty-five senior client coverage professionals. This team manages the relationships of MSCI’s largest and most strategic clients, spanning all MSCI products and services.
Prior to her current role, Michelle served as Head of Americas Investment Consultant Client Coverage for MSCI. Michelle built and led a team that established a structured approach to strengthening the firm’s dialogue with the institutional investment consultant community across North America. Preceding this role, Michelle served as Head of MSCI’s West Coast Client Coverage team for seven years, based out of San Francisco. Michelle managed a large team of professionals covering the Western US and Canada for sales and support of MSCI’s analytics and index products. In parallel, she also managed several of the firm’s strategic client relationships on the West Coast, including CalPERS, CalSTRS and BlackRock (Barclays Global Investors).
Michelle joined MSCI in August of 2003, bringing over 10 years of institutional equity sales and trading experience; spanning Bank of America (Merrill Lynch), Citigroup, and Goldman Sachs. Michelle holds an MBA in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of New Hampshire.
She is actively involved in Partners in Development (Haiti), a non-profit organization focused on helping impoverished communities attain independence and whole-life development. Michelle also served as Co-Head of Global Events and Education for Women in ETFs for three years and continues to be an active member of this non-profit organization supporting the advancement of women in finance.
